B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) - Information and communication Technology

Information and communications technology (ICT) encompasses communication and information devices and their applications- radio, television, cellular phones, computer and network hardware and software, satellite systems and many other areas. In the BTech (ICT) program the students will also learn about image processing, data communication, networking, data mining, software design and testing. The Program also enables a graduate to focus on application of ICT in variety of fields like business, trade, education, health care, governance, etc. The Program is being presented in such a way that graduate attributes would encompass professional competence, life skills and community engagement. The first year B.Tech. curriculum is common for all the branches. From second year onwards, subjects focusing on Information & Communication Technology discipline will be introduced. The course structure is based on Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). A student will have choice to study from the basket of courses related to Information Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communications, Computer Science and Engineering, ICT Applications in the in various fields, etc.

A. Through DASA: Please refer the website https://www.dasanit.org/. The per semester Academic Tuition fees for Foreign National is US $ 4,000. SAARC and African Nationals and CIWG Category (Under DASA)* students would be given scholarship upto Domestic Student's Fee Structure. All applicants would have to pay non-refundable registration fee of US $300 to DASA 2016 while filling online application. B. PDPU International Admission Policy: Minimum 55% or its equivalent in the qualifying examination i.e. Senior Secondary [10+2] or equivalent with Science subjects from any system of education as recognized by the Govt. of India with English as medium of instruction. SAARC and African Nationals and CIWG Category (Under DASA)* students would be given scholarship upto Domestic Student's Fee Structure. As per DASA Admission Policy, Confirmation of Admission through PDPU International Admission Policy will be only after the 1st round of DASA seat allotment.
