B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) Electrical and Electronics Engineering

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has been playing a vital role in producing technologists of highest calibre ever since it was established in the year 1998. The department runs one under-graduate programme and two post-graduate programmes (M.Tech. - Electrical Power Systems & M.Tech. - Solar Power Systems) to cater to the ever challenging needs of technical excellence in all areas of Electrical Engineering such as Power systems, Control Systems & Power Electronics. The department is regularly conducting the seminars, guest lectures, workshops and technical symposiums on latest technologies.

The Department has obtained UGC-Autonomous Status in the year 2014 and is running the programmes successfully meeting all the requirements. The College Academic Council and Board of Studies of the department strive to provide quality education with most advanced curriculum to make the students industry ready as well as excel in the contemporary business world.

The B.Tech. Programme under Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was Accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The candidates securing not less than 45% (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories) of marks in the prescribed group subjects taken together / aggregate marks in the qualifying examination, as prescribed, under A.P. Presidential Order 1974.

Managements shall notify the 30% under Category-B (15% Management quota+15% NRI quota) from the date of first Notification issued under Convener quota -SW.I as laid down in G.Os concerned.

Category A: 70% of the total seats are filled through online counseling carried out by APSCHE as per merit cum Reservation policy of the State Government.

Category B: The institute makes 30% of admissions as per merit and guidelines of the APSCHE

            20% Super Numeric seats of II B.Tech programmes are filled up with diploma holders based on their ranks obtained in ECET (FDH) and reservation policy of State Government by APSCHE.
