B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) - Petroleum Engineering

B.Tech (Petroleum Engineering) is a Four Year (8 Semesters) course. The minimum eligibility for admitting into this program is to pass in +2 examination (or) equivalent examination with combination of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 

The students are trained in their 4 year study program in the areas of   Geology for Petroleum Engineers, Drilling Engineering & Well Completion, Surveying, Petroleum Exploration Methods, Reservoir Engineering, Process Heat Transfer, Chemical Reaction Engineering, Natural Gas Engineering & Processing, Petroleum Formation and Evaluation, Pipeline Engineering & Transportation of Oil & Gas, Mass Transfer, Environmental Hazardous and Safety Management, Petroleum Production Engineering and Oil and Gas Well Testing along with specialization subjects –

The graduates of this group are in high demand, and they find wide range of opportunities in Oil Fields. They move into positions as Petroleum Engineering Specialists both on onshore and Off-shore. Only candidates who have the requisite qualification from foreign universities or Boards of Higher Education recognized as equivalent to the +2stage of Indian Education mode with the combination of Physics Chemistry and Maths by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi are eligible for seeking admission. 
If required, candidates will be asked to obtain the 'eligibility certificate' from the AIU, New Delhi.

Admissions are in conformity with the guidelines set by the Association of Indian Universities and the Statutory Bodies of India like the University Grants Commission of India (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India, Architecture Council of India, Bar Council of India etc.

Based on the predicted scores / final scores, the eligibility requirements for the program applied for have been found to be satisfied then the Provisional Admission Letter will be Emailed to aspirant's mail id.

Step - 3 

Accept the Provisional Admission Letter, pay the Registration Fee (Mentioned in Provisional Admission Letter) stated in the letter and apply for Final Admission Letter & Accommodation.

KLU will issue confirmation of admission after receiving the payment.  

Step - 4 

Apply for VISA at Indian Embassy/Mission at your country by presenting confirmation of admission. (This is not applicable for Nepal and Bhutan students).

Step - 5

Share your travel details with International Relations Staff through to arrange pickup and accommodation facilities

Step - 6

Arrive at K L University, Submit all Original Documents, Fee Transaction Details and start your program of study.
