B.F.A (Bachelor of Fine Arts) Digital Film Making and VFX

B.F.A is a Four Year (8 Semesters) course. The minimum eligibility for admitting into this program is to pass in +2 examination (or) equivalent examination.

The students of this program learns in their 4 year study period about  Introduction to Direction for Television, Importance of Sound and Sound Special Effects, Editing concepts, Concepts of Post Production and Computer Graphics, Basics of Cinematography, Intermediate Practical Film Making, Introduction to Direction for Films, Introduction to Media theory, Visual Special Effects and Compositing Fundamentals, Advertisement Film Making, Intermediate Documentary Film Making, VFX Pre Production, Digital compositing, Rotoscopy and Keying, Character Effects, Shading, Lighting and Rendering, 3D Lab, VFX Pipeline and Management, Paint and Match Moving, 3D Dynamics, Media Laws, Overview – Media and New Media Business, Basics of Marketing and Publicity Design, Introduction to Media ‘Project Management’, Introduction to New Media and Advanced Practical Film Making.

After completing degree program in digital filmmaking & VFX, students might pursue several related career opportunities. They could explore job prospects in directing, writing or cinematography,film & video production studios, game design companies, advertising & graphic design firms, software firms, medical animation, and product design firms.

Only candidates who have the requisite qualification from foreign universities or Boards of Higher Education recognized as equivalent to the +2stage of Indian Education mode by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi are eligible for seeking admission. 
If required, candidates will be asked to obtain the 'eligibility certificate' from the AIU, New Delhi.
Admissions are in conformity with the guidelines set by the Association of Indian Universities and the Statutory Bodies of India like the University Grants Commission of India (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India, Architecture Council of India, Bar Council of India etc.

Based on the predicted scores / final scores, the eligibility requirements for the program applied for have been found to be satisfied then the Provisional Admission Letter will be Emailed to aspirant's mail id.

Step - 3 

Accept the Provisional Admission Letter, pay the Registration Fee (Mentioned in Provisional Admission Letter) stated in the letter and apply for Final Admission Letter & Accommodation.

KLU will issue confirmation of admission after receiving the payment.  

Step - 4 

Apply for VISA at Indian Embassy/Mission at your country by presenting confirmation of admission. (This is not applicable for Nepal and Bhutan students).

Step - 5

Share your travel details with International Relations Staff through to arrange pickup and accommodation facilities

Step - 6

Arrive at K L University, Submit all Original Documents, Fee Transaction Details and start your program of study.
