B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture)

B.Arch is a Five Year (10 Semesters) course. The minimum eligibility for admitting into this program is to pass in +2 examination (or) equivalent examination with combination of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and has to qualify in NATA examination (or) JEE.

The student learn in their study period about   History of Architecture and Culture, Theory of Architecture, Building Materials, Architectural Drawing, Art Studio, Basic Design, Mechanics of Structures, Building Construction, Architectural Design, Climate and Built Environment, Computer Aided Visualization, Design of Structures, Site Analysis and Planning, Building Services, Human Settlement and Planning, Working Drawings, Estimation, Costing and Specification, Town Planning, Urban Design, Building  Construction and Management, Sustainable Building Design, Applied Ergonomics, Set Design, Vernacular Architecture, Earthquake Resistance Architecture, Green Building, Interior Design, Furniture Design and Product Design, Industrial Building System.

There are multiple opportunities in this field for architects equally in private and public sectors. Professionals can seek employment in government organizations such as Urban & Rural Development, state and central public works, Large Scale Housing construction Schemes etc. After gaining experience, the architects can set up their own company and practice as consultants to Banks, Housing Finance Institutions.

    Limited Seats

Only candidates who have the requisite qualification from foreign universities or Boards of Higher Education recognized as equivalent to the +2stage of Indian Education mode by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi are eligible for seeking admission with combination of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 
If required, candidates will be asked to obtain the 'eligibility certificate' from the AIU, New Delhi.

Admissions are in conformity with the guidelines set by the Association of Indian Universities and the Statutory Bodies of India like the University Grants Commission of India (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India, Architecture Council of India, Bar Council of India etc.

Note: Candidates can attempt the National Aptitude Test on Archicteure (NATA), through online at University Campus, if failed to qualify in National Aptitude Test on Archicteure (NATA), admission will be changed to B.Tech (Civil Eng)

Complete the application form (http://www.kluniversity.in/ir/docs/IRAppNew.pdf),  review the Checklist  and send scanned copies of Filled Application along with supporting Documents to internationalrelations@kluniversity.in

Based on the predicted scores / final scores, the eligibility requirements for the program applied for have been found to be satisfied then the Provisional Admission Letter will be Emailed to aspirant's mail id.

Step - 3 

Accept the Provisional Admission Letter, pay the Registration Fee (Mentioned in Provisional Admission Letter) stated in the letter and apply for Final Admission Letter & Accommodation.

KLU will issue confirmation of admission after receiving the payment.  

Step - 4 

Apply for VISA at Indian Embassy/Mission at your country by presenting confirmation of admission. (This is not applicable for Nepal and Bhutan students).

Step - 5

Share your travel details with International Relations Staff through internationalrelations@kluniversity.in to arrange pickup and accommodation facilities

Step - 6

Arrive at K L University, Submit all Original Documents, Fee Transaction Details and start your program of study.
