Since its inception in 1995, Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB), a premier Business B-School in Delhi, has worked towards rediscovering and reinventing MBA Education through developing an industry relevant and global curriculum delivered by erudite faculty. Approved by the AICTE and accorded equivalence with MBA by Association of Indian Universities (AIU), this MBA equivalent course is the core of FIIB's management education programs. Corporate Internship Program

Corporate Internship Program (CIP) is a project activity that is intended to build upon all of a student’s coursework during the first year of the PGDM program of the B-school, and attempts to link the theory with day-to-day practical applications in the business setting. The CIP aims to provide the college students with hands-on experience and a good sense of what an actual job in the organisation will be like. The Program is scheduled at the college campus for time duration of 6-8 weeks after completion of Term III.

In the current academic year 121 students did their Internship in 65 companies and 38 college students were paid stipends in the range of 3-10 K. Six companies have shown strong willingness to hire the Interns in Permanent roles. The students did their Internships at renowned organizations like: Colgate Palmolive (India) Pvt Ltd, GlaxoSmithKline, Consumer Healthcare Ltd, Pepsico Holdings (India) Pvt Ltd, Spice Retail, Axis Bank, Rasna Beverages, Hitachi Home & Life Solutions (India) Ltd, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, Indian Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) and Export Credit Guarantee Corporation (ECGC).

Poornima Malhan: “My project was on a comprehensive study on the Engagement level of the branch incumbents of PNB towards NPA (Non-Performing Assets) Resolution. I got an opportunity to integrate financial aspects with that of HR. My critical learnings included the importance of soft skills development of employees working in sensitive posts.” 

Aakriti Sachdeva: “I pursued my Internship at one of the premier Market Research Organisations- MDRA (Marketing and Development Research Associates) and worked on Ranking of Best B Schools in India. I interviewed Heads of different B Schools and other eminent people from the Industry which instilled confidence in me.”

Sudhanshu Shekhar: “Digital Marketing is my core interest and I did my Internship at Digital Force Online Pvt Ltd as a Social Media Marketing Intern. I was working simultaneously for clients across different product spaces situated in Europe. Understanding the clients’ expectations across geographies was a challenge that I handled effectively.”

Rashmi Yadav: “I worked for Colgate Palmolive as a sales intern. I was expected to target the untapped regions in & around Delhi-NCR where the SKUs of CP were not on display. This helped in bringing more regions in the sales route of the company’s sales team. Interacting with distributors & retailers gave me an understanding of real time sales & marketing.”
